Lockland advanced to the boys’ Division IV regional finals with 74-67 overtime win over Russia on Tuesday night at Miami University Millet Hall.

The Panthers (22-3) were ranked No. 10 in the state poll but upset the No. 4-ranked Raiders (22-3) behind a game-high 26 points by Thomas Smith.

Lockland’s Mack Ogletree (11 points) sent the game to overtime with a free throw in the final two seconds of regulation and Lockland outscored Russia 11-4 in the extra period.

The Panthers will play Houston (21-4) in a regional championship game on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Millet Hall with a shot at the state Final Four on the line.
