Moeller scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to rally past McNicholas 8-4 in a Greater Catholic League game on Wednesday at Crosley Field in Blue Ash.

The Crusaders (9-3, 4-2), ranked fourth in the coaches' Division I poll, led McNicholas (5-5, 3-4), ranked No. 2 in Divisions II-IV, 2-1 heading into the sixth inning before the Rockets scored three times on three hits, a sacrifice bunt and a walk to take a 4-2 lead.

The Crusaders stormed back in their half of the sixth with six runs on five hits and three walks, with Tom Belza, Jason Cisper, Bryan Robinett, Dave Corna and Ryan Rodriguez all contribuing RBIs.

"That was a tough one to lose," said McNicholas head Coach Willy Corbett after the game. "We'll be OK but it was a shame to lose like that especially after having a lead. We're a young team but we have to make plays and we didn't."

Moeller senior Will Seiler picked up his first varsity win in relief and Alex Wimmers earned a save.
